Clean water is necessary for a healthy body. When you turn on the tap in your kitchen to pour a glass of water for your family, you expect clean water to fill the glass.
City tap water frequently has “acceptable” levels of chlorine and other chemicals along with volatile organic compounds (VOC’s).
Homes with on-site wells supplying the water are often furnishing contaminated water without the homeowners realizing it.
1st Choice Home Inspections offers several types of water filtration systems, depending on your needs.
City Supplied Water Filtration Systems
This whole house water filtration system is perfect for city supplied water. It removes the chemicals, chlorine, and VOC’s, but leaves in the “good” minerals.
The tank can be installed usually in a couple of hours. The quick and easy installation will provide clean, fresh water to every faucet in your home, without the harmful chemicals and VOC’s.
Your family will enjoy drinking this water for years to come with virtually no maintenance for 15 years. Filters do not need to be changed, and the cleaning process is automatic.
Best of all, this is a salt free system, requiring no ongoing purchases of salt.

AIO Well-Water Filtration System
The AIO well-water filtration system uses nature’s own oxidation process, along with a highly effective filtering system, to remove common contaminants, Iron and Sulphur, from the water.
By removing the Iron and Sulphur from your water, appliances will last longer, clothes will last longer without losing their colors, and fixtures will not turn orange with staining.
In addition, the water will taste better and you can say goodbye to that “rotten egg” smell.
The AIO system is self-cleaning, performing a daily backwash cycle that flushes the contaminants down the drain and adds fresh air back into the tank. The AIO uses the Vortech system, using 30% less backwash water than other systems.

Ultraviolet Light Systems
In a nutshell, an ultraviolet (UV) system kills bacteria and viruses in the water going to your home from the well.
If your water is clear, but contains bacteria and viruses, a UV filter can kill that bacteria and virus, making it safe to drink.
However, a UV system alone does not filter out chlorine, metals, or other chemicals and VOC’s, so pairing it with the AIO system (seen above) provides the most benefits.
Some homeowners with wells utilize the UV system alone, while others pair the AIO system and a UV system.
